Hi and thanks for reading our website! My name is Fernanda Macedo and I’m the owner of Fernanda’s Beauty Salon.
My mom opened the salon in Union Square in 2000, and passed it down to me when I was 18 & I’ve been trying to make it better and to become a better professional each year since. We’ve now upgraded to our new location in Winter Hill, where we finally have a parking lot. It’s the little things...
When I think of our business, I’m most proud of the individual people on our staff, and seeing how much growth they have over their careers, which always translates into growth in their personal lives.
At the salon, I’m most known for our “Hair Art” service, which uses our luxury lightener and lets my clients have the most amazing transformations in one appointment. When I’m not being a stylist, my passions are horseback riding, scuba diving, and recently added: being a mommy.
CRISTIANE FAGGION
My name is Cris and I’ve worked at FBS since 2016.
I am a person passionate about life and I try to enjoy every moment of it. I love to dedicate my free time to my husband and children; they are everything to me.
I also love riding my motorcycle and having a cold beer, haha.
I love doing what I do, especially creating a relationship with my clients, who are the best clients in the world. Seeing them happy with the result is my achievement.
Sometimes I wonder which service I like to do the most, but I can't choose because it’s all about this incredible energy that my clients give off when they’re happy with any service.
I am a very grateful person.
YASMIN MURTA
I’m Yasmin, I’ve been working at Fernanda’s since 2018. I finished beauty school in Brazil, but I discovered my passion for the hair industry when I started working here with Fernanda, she inspires every single person to want to grow. I love that we change people's lives by allowing them to have the hair of their dreams. I love what I do, even more working with people I admire so much.
LUIZA ARAUJO
My name is Luiza. I graduated from Beauty school in Brazil in 2018. What truly fulfills me as a stylist is the ability to make a positive impact on someone's self-esteem. And it is an incredibly rewarding aspect of my job.
One of my favorite pastimes is fishing. It allows me to connect with nature. I also love immersing myself in different worlds through books and films, allowing my imagination to run wild. It's a wonderful way to relax and unwind, while also expanding my knowledge and understanding of different cultures and perspectives.
Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of caring for a variety of dogs, cats, birds, fishes, and even horses, I've experienced the joy and love that animals bring into our lives.

Hello, my name is Estela. I’ve been with Fernanda’s Beauty Salon since 2015. I know the ins and outs of the salon. From the front desk to managing the salon.
I’m from Texas but I live in Rhode Island. I travel to Massachusetts for work because I love working at Fernanda’s Beauty Salon.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve known I wanted to be a hairdresser. I took my first course of cosmetology in high school. I started by assisting at other salons in Providence and even Newbury Street in Boston. My hairdressing skills have improved with each of the salons at which I have worked. I look forward to gaining more skills here at Fernanda’s so that I may show those skills to my clients.

HOLLY MCRAE
Hey there! I've been a licensed hairstylist since 2019 in Toronto, Canada. but I have been working at Fernanda's since 2021. I love working with all hair textures, I especially enjoy styling curly hair and keeping hair strong and healthy. I offer a range of services, including haircuts, balayage, keratin treatments and polished hairstyling. Can't wait to work some hair magic with you!
