FERNANDA MACEDO
Hi and thanks for reading our website! My name is Fernanda Macedo and I’m the owner of Fernanda’s Beauty Salon.
My mom opened the salon in Union Square in 2000, and passed it down to me when I was 18 & I’ve been trying to make it better and to become a better professional each year since. We’ve now upgraded to our new location in Winter Hill, where we finally have a parking lot. It’s the little things...
When I think of our business, I’m most proud of the individual people on our staff, and seeing how much growth they have over their careers, which always translates into growth in their personal lives.
At the salon, I’m most known for our “Hair Art” service, which uses our luxury lightener and lets my clients have the most amazing transformations in one appointment. When I’m not being a stylist, my passions are horseback riding, scuba diving, and recently added: being a mommy.

CRISTIANE FAGGION
I am passionate about life and strive to make the most of every moment. In my free time, nothing brings me more joy than being with my husband and children—they are my everything.
I also have a deep love for riding my motorcycle and enjoying a cold beer—haha!
I truly love what I do, especially the connections I build with my clients, who are simply the best. Seeing their happiness with the results of my work is my greatest reward.
Sometimes I wonder which service I enjoy the most, but I can never choose because, in the end, it’s all about the incredible energy my clients radiate when they’re happy with any service.
Above all, I am a deeply grateful person.

YASMIN MURTA
I’m Yasmin, and I’ve been part of Fernanda’s since 2018. I went to beauty school in Brazil, but my real passion for the hair industry started when I began working here. Fernanda inspires everyone to grow, and I love being part of that.
At the salon, I help her manage things - she’s the boss 😉 but I truly enjoy being involved. Making people feel beautiful and confident is the best part of what we do, especially alongside such an amazing team.
Outside of salon life, I love being a mom and spending time with my family. Shopping, driving a nice car, and just enjoying life make me happy.

LUIZA ARAUJO
I’m Luiza Araújo, a certified hairdresser since 2018. When I’m not at the salon, I love fishing, working out at the gym, and enjoying time with my family. I’m a big Formula 1 fan, enjoy movies and reading, and I’m a huge fan of sweets and chocolate! My goal is to make every client feel amazing and confident.

ESTELA AVELAR
My name is Estela, and I was born and raised in Texas, but my roots trace back to El Salvador through my parents. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a hairdresser—it has always been my passion. I first pursued my cosmetology license in Texas but didn’t fully explore it until I moved to Rhode Island in 2012. After relocating, I earned my cosmetology license from Toni & Guy and officially began my career.
I joined Fernanda’s Salon in July 2014, and this summer marks my 10th year in the industry. Over the years, I have gained expertise in customer service, front desk operations, keratin treatments, balayage, and much more. I truly love what I do, and I feel fortunate to live my dream every day.
Beyond being a hairstylist, I’m also a proud mom of two and a part-time college student working on my general studies. My motto is: “Do what makes you happy.” I feel blessed to be where I am in life, and I look forward to continuing to grow in this amazing profession.
